Manny and company at Altura did a great job of remediating my Asbestos in the ceilings of a new home purchase (new to me, was built in the 70's...). We knew right away we wanted to get rid of the popcorn ceilings. Manny gave us a quote, some start dates, and took care of handling all the permits and asbestos checks and everything for us. He even checked under the sub-floor since we were planning to replace the carpet, and he discovered there was a lot of overspray of the asbestos ceiling texture on the bare subfloor. So we pulled everything up and remediated that as well. Through the whole project Manny sent me pictures and stayed in touch with the progress, as we had him do all the work before we "moved in" to the house. It all worked out and we came out the other end without asbestos ceilings/floors in our bedrooms, and while it'd have been nice if there wasn't asbestos in the house at all, given our situation Manny helped us make the best of it. I checked with a few other Asbestos remediation companies and Altura was also one of the more reasonably priced, so IMO, you can't do better than going with this group on your asbestos remediation project.
